Vase placed by Caetano Gisi on October 17, 2015

“Artigas, in Uruguay, is at the triple border close to Argentina and Brasil, on the northwest. As I sat and read some prayers a man was cleaning the place and burning some leaves, there was this good smell of fire. I started digging and was wondering about how strange it would seem for people who might see me there in the middle of the park. I was trying to find out what to say if someone came to ask, but when the man responsible for the park came I couldn’t come up with anything but the truth: “I am burying this peace vase. It will bless this place.” And it was fine for him! I put the vase inside, closed the hole and got a feeling of understanding a little bit of the meaning of this and felt connected to the intentions of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

After some days, when I was at a bus station at 3 am in the morning, waiting with my dirty shovel on my backpack, some guys sat close by and one asked:
– What are you doing with this shovel? Came to dig for treasures in Uruguay?
I replied:
– No, I am burying treasures here…
I was very frank as I said it, and he got disconcerted as he didn’t know if I was being serious or not.”
